Some of our projects and operational work in broadcast television are listed below:
Am I bothered
Recorded for ITV1 Meridian on the 9th August. The program runs 22 minutes long, a total of 8 were made on the day.
Location: Thornden Hall, Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.
Set-up and rig PPU in Hall
4 x Sony DSR 570 WSP cameras including Jib.
Recording on DV Cam,
Iso Record on the DSR cameras.
The main machine plus back-up is DSR 30P
Data video SE 800 Vision mixer: 4 channel 2 bus
4 x fire wire cables to vision mixer
Overseas Property TV: satellite channel 247

A reality programme transmitted live on ITV in early September.
Vision control and setup of 53 cameras for 24 hour coverage
OUR NHS OUR FUTURE
Event conference at the Birmingham ICC 19th September
Birmingham ICC hosted a 3 camera live event including 9 incoming remotes VC sources.
Technical equipment was installed into LCR (lighting control room): front house audio, vision mixer plus director position, network playout and Lead VC operator (9 incoming remotes sources).
On the rig day the equipment was installed and fully tested and made ready for a fax check.
Operations on the day involved vision control, switching graphics, mixing + graphics play-out to network and floor projector.
Technical requirements:
3 x Sony D50P Ped cameras into MX70 vision mixer. DSR 45 record main and iso. Matrix switcher fed with IML graphics(audience response system), DVD, mixer, computer slides and graphics,
scan converters and decoders, studio and TFT monitors, Pal and VGA distribution.
Horse Racing TV coverage in-house and satellite
This year, some operational work involved OB vision engineering at horse racing circuits in the southern counties of England.
